'Pangolin'

'Pangolin'

A Temminck's pangolin (also known as a Cape pangolin), is one of four species of pangolins found in Africa, and the only one in southern and eastern Africa. Pangolins are among the most critically endangered animals in the world. I actually got teary after this shoot because I never thought I’d have the opportunity to see one let alone photograph one, knowing how incredibly rare (and adorable) they are.

Photographed 7 October, 2019 South Africa.
